The DKPLP website is now served directly as static HTML rather than through Lenya.
The main reasons for replacing Lenya:
I will probably not use it again, unless I miss all the XML, considering the trouble I had getting it working in the first place. I think it fits best as a heavyweight publishing application in a Java-heavy environment.
In the process I came across HTTrack, which is a fairly good tool for mirroring websites.
Now feels like a good time to start working on DKP Log Parser 1.4.1 . I will start working my way through the to do list and hopefully have a version ready for testing at some point.
The DKPLP site could also use some kind of news system to announce new releases, so I will look into that too. I'm considering using Mephisto for that purpose after having tried it out with LokoNotes. Although I'm not quite sure how I would go about integrating it into Lenya.
The DKPLP wiki's contents has now caught up with the development. All of the important bits are now up to date, although there's plenty of room for improvement.
The important part is that the old wiki is now being redirected to the new one.
DKP Log Parser's new website is now up and running. It's not complete, some contents (such as screenshots) is missing, but it will be added over time. I'm hoping to also be able to set up the site so that anyone can edit the contents of the pages, there are some problems that have to be solved first though.
The old DKPLP section on this site is now being redirected to the new one. The next step is to finish updating the new wiki and to move the forums to the new location, I'm still hoping that phpBB will get an RC of phpBB 3.0 ready before that happens, but I'm not counting on it. The issue-tracker, wiki and forum will also have to be restyled to fit the site's design, when that happens will depend on interest.
