DKPLU v1.0d

The DKP List Updater should now be able to read most EQDKP list pages. If it returns an error then it probably means that it's unable to read the EQDKP list that you're using. Don't fear though, just send me the debug info (read the readme for more info) and I will teach the program to read your EQDKP list. The current version should be good enough for most pages though so I don't expect any updates unless I come up with some improvements...

DKPLU v1.0a

A small but hopefully helpful fix has been added to the list updater. The program used to assume that the EQDKP site looked a certain way, which is not true for a lot of sites. That is why the program has been gifted with the ability to figure out where the data is (in most cases anyway *smiles*). So nothing essential but those who have been experiencing trouble getting the program to work should download the new version, as it will probably...

DKP List Updater

There's a new project in town: DKP List Updater. It's purpose is to download DKP standings form EQDKP and show them inside EQ via an UI window. This program was done because I got a suggestion that something like it might be handy. So feel free to send suggestions via "Contact me", I might fancy making them reality *smiles*. A new projects tab has been created for the project. The current version is 1.0 as it's working perfectly...

Magnetic Gliders' source released

A part of the reason that I wanted to create this site was to give some programming examples by releasing the source for projects. Personally I find reading examples to be the best to learn a new language, hence I have now released Magnetic Gliders' source. Basically I will be releasing the source for projects that are either finished or put on ice (meaning that the programming part is complete but some other factor is hindering the project)....

New archive

The title might be a bit misleading, the archive is not really redone in a contents kind of way. Rather the way one can access it has been changed. You will now find yourself at http://www.lokorin.com/news/archive when you access the archive. This is not because of a move or anything, the URL has just been remapped to be easier to access directly. This change does bring some new things though. For example you can now access individual news...

Validation complete

All pages should now have been changed and should now validate as strict XHTML. I know that the sub menu is a bit offset at the moment as a result of the change but that should hopefully be corrected shortly. Next up is to revalidate the CSS, which shouldn't take too long. A link for it has also been added next to the other validation link.

What is going on?

Well you might have noticed that I have been playing around quite a bit with the site. This is because I'm revalidating it for strict XHTML. The result is that I'm going though the pages and rebuilding them so that they validate as proper strict XHTML code. This should be done by tomorrow so please endure anything that looks weird until then. You may also notice that there's now a validation link next to the copyright text for each page....

Builder v0.4

This new version mostly contains changes concerning multiple selections and groups. It should be more logical and consistent now. It does however also contain some new things, the most noticeable thing is that the way blocks are created have been changed. They are now easier to move away from the middle than they were before (you basically had to dig them out behind any other blocks you might have covering the middle). Another change is that the...

Builder v0.3

A new development version has been released. The major changes include: The program now remembers your grid settings. You can now move objects by entering the new co-ordinates in the selected window. You can now select multiple objects my holding down the ctrl key while selecting. You can now group object via the new "Group" window in the bottom right corner of the interface. The program can now be told to remember the list of building...

New blocks

I have spent some time trying to create some nice blocks for the Builder project. Here's a set that I think turned out quite well: The set is supposed to be a dirt cliff. It consists of four different blocks: a corner, a flat piece and two different side blocks. I also tried to spread out some rocks that I created, but they didn't look so good. The set has been uploaded and can be downloaded in the projects section. I will be trying to...
